Cancellation policy

This policy explains how to cancel your subscription and how refunds work. It summarises key points for your convenience; our full Terms & Conditions govern in the event of any conflict.

Cancel anytime

You are never locked in. You can cancel your subscription to the Grymmsburg Letters at any time — no fees, no penalty, and no need to give a reason.

How to cancel

Sign in to your account, open your subscription, and select Cancel; or

email us at contact@thenuclearbard.com and we will cancel it for you.

Either way, we will confirm your cancellation by email. If you don’t receive confirmation, please contact us so we can put it right.

When your cancellation takes effect

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep every Dispatch you have already paid for.

Each month’s Dispatch enters preparation on the 1st. So if you cancel before the 1st, the coming month’s Cycle is stopped; if you cancel on or after the 1st, your cancellation takes effect from the following Cycle, and you will still receive the Dispatch for the Cycle already in preparation.

You will not be charged again once your cancellation has taken effect.

Monthly and annual plans

Monthly plans continue until you cancel and are billed each month.

Annual plans run for 12 months and then renew automatically for a further 12 months unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will remind you by email before an annual plan renews.

Cancelling an annual plan stops the next renewal; your current 12-month term runs to its end, and you keep receiving the Dispatches you have paid for.

Refunds

For monthly plans, we do not refund a month that has already begun or been dispatched — cancelling simply stops future billing.

For annual plans, we do not provide part-refunds for the unused portion of a current annual term, except where the law requires it (see “Your 14-day right to change your mind” below, and faulty or lost Dispatches).

If a Dispatch is faulty, damaged, or lost in transit, we will replace it or refund it in line with your statutory rights and our Terms & Conditions — this is separate from cancelling.

Your 14-day right to change your mind (new subscribers)

This is different from cancelling, and it is a stronger right. If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of receiving your first Dispatch, for any reason, and receive a refund of your payment including standard shipping.

To use it, tell us by email at contact@thenuclearbard.com (or use the withdrawal form in our Terms & Conditions) within those 14 days. You return the first Dispatch and pay the return postage; we refund you within 14 days of being informed. During this period, this right overrides the refund limits above.

Full details are in Section 10 of our Terms & Conditions.

Price changes

If we ever change the price of your subscription, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel before the change takes effect. A price change never applies to a Cycle you have already paid for.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, we may pause your Dispatches until it is resolved. You can update your payment details, or cancel, at any time from your account.
